Whilst Covid had us all stuck on British shores, IKEA drop it’s hottest, most staycationable accessory yet… The FÄLTMAL.

For it’s launch we created Staycation Sven. A fully digitalised character born from having a tiny budget, and inability to go on shoots during lockdown. We took Sven on a digital road trip across the UK, to show just how perfect the FÄLTMAL was for all of your staycation needs

A Digital Road Trip

Sven’s journeys across the UK went live on IKEA’s socials, as a series of 8 competitions in which we challengers followers to guess where Svën was staycationing, to be in with the chance of bagging a FÄLTMAL.

He captured the hearts of the nation, and got people chatting about staycations, with over 4x the engagement than average IKEA social post.
